J&K Maternity Session
On a serene late summer morning, I had the pleasure of meeting with John and Kate at the picturesque McCarty’s Cove in Marquette Michigan to capture some special moments. The day was bathed in the soft, golden light of the season, making it the perfect backdrop for our photography session.
As we began, I assured John that our session would be efficient, with my goal being to have him back to enjoying his well-deserved day off in less than 30 minutes. To our delight, we managed to capture the essence of his personality and the beauty of the surroundings in under 25 minutes, allowing him to relish the rest of his day without the camera in front of him.
Kate, on the other hand, chose to linger a bit longer, granting me the opportunity to capture some truly heartwarming, motherly moments against the backdrop of the magnificent Lake Superior. Her radiant presence and the stunning natural surroundings created a truly enchanting atmosphere for our photoshoot.
These laid-back sessions, like the one with John and Kate, have become my absolute favorite type of photography sessions this summer. It's astounding to see the sheer beauty and emotion that we can encapsulate in less than an hour amidst the enchanting settings that nature provides.
As the warm breeze of late summer embraced us that day, I couldn't help but marvel at the extraordinary moments we were able to freeze in time, all while allowing John and Kate to savor the magic of this remarkable season. It's moments like these that remind me why I fell in love with photography in the first place.
